Like many people, I continue to explore what balance looks like for me. I value long walks in nature, movement that helps me feel more grounded, and food that feels nourishing rather than rigid or rule-bound.
I have an ongoing interest in holistic wellbeing and the ways our mental, emotional, and physical health are connected — not as something to get “right,” but as something to stay curious about. This perspective shapes how I work as a counsellor, offering a calm, compassionate space that recognises we’re all doing our best with what we have.
Since 2013, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds.
My work began with one-to-one sessions and training for both children and adults focused on substance misuse education.
Subsequently, I shifted my focus to supporting adults dealing with addiction and overall well-being. My experience also includes facilitating group sessions and providing support to individuals facing housing and mental health challenges. Additionally, I have worked in evening clinics for professionals as well as day services.
Throughout my career, I have maintained my involvement in addiction services while also working for low-cost counselling services and running my own private practice.
I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) trained at Bachelor of Science in Humanistic Counselling and Diploma level for Humanistic Counselling at Middlesex University
Throughout my career I endeavour to continue learning and evolving using regular training or CPD to stay up to date as information changes over time.
Some of the training that I update yearly is:
-Safeguarding levels 1,2 and 3
-Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Awareness
-Substance Misuse
-GDPR- Handling Information Awareness
-Suicide Awareness
-Autism Awareness
